Kendriya Vidyalaya Mandla has started working in 2003 for Classes I to V in a temporary building. Later on in the year 2009 the school has been shifted to its own newly constructed building.
New building of Vidyalaya is situated on Dindori Road , near DIET, Mandla. Vidyalaya is about 2 KM from Mandla Bus Stand. It is 1 section school. Presently Vidyalaya has classes from I to XII with SCIENCE and COMMERCE streams at +2 level. Vidyalaya has 14 Class Rooms, 03 Science Labs, 1 Maths Lab, 1 Computer Lab, 1 Activity/Resource Room, 1 Library and well developed Campus.
